Scouts Canada, the country’s leading youth organization, offers challenging programs for boys, girls and youth age 5-26 in thousands of individual groups in most cities and towns across Canada.
Since 1907, Scouts Canada has been a volunteer-based, fee-driven organization. With close to 17 million youth having been through its programs, this model has served the organization well and has allowed us to become the country’s leading youth organization. However, like many organizations today, whether a nonprofit or for-profit, Scouts Canada realizes a more diverse revenue model will provide a more sustainable financial base from which to continue its good works in communities across our service area.
Anchored in the vision of building long-term, strategic, and integrated partnerships with corporations and foundations willing to support Scouts Canada’s mission, we are poised to position the organization for continued success. Revenue Development identifies strategies and cultivates relationships that develop revenue and resources to support council initiatives and grassroots programs that ultimately reach local Groups, Camps and Scouting families.
